A transparent guide to the Notification Flood Visualizer
The notification flood visualizer is an attention-design exercise. It shows how quickly repeated status items can compete for space and concentration, while avoiding sound, vibration, browser notification permission, operating-system alerts, and external accounts.
Designers and students can use it to discuss alert fatigue, sensible rate limits, prioritisation, and calm interfaces. The experience stays within a clearly bounded panel and stops after the selected count.
Unlike a real push-notification system, the visualizer has no service worker, subscription token, messaging provider, or background process. Closing the page leaves nothing running.

Choose an event count
Set a small sample between one and twenty; no account or number is required.

Use it with context
Appropriate uses and clear boundaries
A simulation is useful when viewers know it is fictional and the screen effect itself is the purpose. It should never be presented as evidence that another person was contacted or targeted.
